Designing your dream home can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. We provide guidance to create an efficient, unique, and functional home. Through the use of digital drafting software we’re able to create options galore to help you create the optimal floor plan for you and your family.

Step 1- Send us everything, seriously, every idea, dream, fantasy, detail that inspires you when you think of your future home. The more we know about you and how you envision your home the easier it is to tailor the design to you. It helps give insight into your thought processes, styles, and priorities.

Step 2- Although the exterior of the home is what will draw the most attention, the floor plan design and functionality is of upmost importance. What good is a pretty book if all the words are jumbled?! We take your ideas from step 1 and distill them into a functional floor plan. While not every fantasy is achievable we’ll work to create a balance between budget, desire and feasibility.

Step 3- Options, lots of options. After the initial preliminary floor plans are created your input is vital. Together we’ll collaborate on ideas to improve the initial design, work through any uncertainties, and refine the plans until you’re satisfied with the design.

Step 4- We did it! We’ve created a functional plan that gives you everything you want and need. Time to put together the exterior design. Raymond Patrick Design Group is unique in that we utilize 3D renderings to design our exteriors. These 3D renderings ensure that the home presents well when you see it from the street. This is an improvement over 2D drawings as you’ll see how the light and shadows hit the home and gives you a more true to life view of the home as you’d see it.

Step 5- Now that the design stage is complete and you are satisfied with your new home inside and out, we begin on drafting the permit drawings which will include all the information your builder and permitting office will need to get started on construction!
